Welcome to the Managers' Tribune

What’s up Slammers! The 2022-23 season is on its way, and we’ve got this brand-spanking new website to show off our accomplishments and love for the game of basketball. I’m gonna continue building it out, little by little, as the season progresses, but I want to open the site up to the rest of the owners as well. In the past, we’ve had draft recaps, draft position analysis, and matchup updates but nothing with any type of formal space to promote any consistency.

The Managers’ Tribune is a space for any Seoul Slammers owners to write their thoughts on the league, players, or the NBA at large. If you have anything you want to contribute, I’ll set you up with an account for the website, so you can contribute articles whenever you want. We can also get on a call so I can walk you through how to use a template to stylize the article.

On my end, I’m going to do my best to try to write recaps for each week’s matchups and give accolades accordingly. I’m a little behind, so I’m gonna try to bust out Weeks 1-3 over the weekend. I’ll keep ya’ll updated.

Thus far, Nate has put a bunch of effort into the above photoshopped league image, so I had to highlight it here. There’s a lot going on there, but you should be able to see each of your faces as babies next to the “league mom” (me) holding Robbie and Drew. Nate also wrote a rap before the season began, which I’ve only just now been able to put together to showcase here. He also mentioned that he was thinking about recording himself spittin these verses, so maybe if we show enough support, he’ll pull the trigger and flex those vocals.

Clutch City’s team looked like a bunch of zombies,
Maybe he should go back to Harney’s Honkies.
Dad Bod has been riding Jokic’s nuts,
How’s it going OD, do you have a dad gut?
Flint Tropics skills are microscopic,
Hebrew Hammer’s achievemephobic.
Sad Twolves Fan is feeling bad for Towns,
Maybe they shouldn’t be overpaying for clowns.
Talkin bout Practice still dreams of Iverson,
But just like The Answer he’ll never be number one.
Wakanda Forever is the new kid on the block,
I’m sure he’s gonna be a fantasy laughingstock.
We the North was my Slammers recruit,
I apologize for bringing on a Raptors prostitute.
Naha Monkey Lizards are the cream of the crop,
